Firestarter
The beautiful red-gold finish on this “Avian” series piece was achieved by spraying several layers of matte glaze containing carefully researched combinations of metallic oxides, and was fired in oxidation.
His holeyness the pot
Inspired by water worn beach rocks, the holes’ duel purpose is to decorate the form while giving places to arrange small flowers, twigs, or grasses in a natural way. (The pieces in this series hold water.)
